Assistant Project Manager Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Your company More than 40 years’ history, a construction company with projects all over Florida. Specialized in fast-paced projects, Restaurants, High-End Retail – Commercial, Tenant Improvements, Mixed-use and Hospitality. Located in Miami with a focus on Dade – Broward County. Responsibilities Reports to Project Executive / PM on managing contracts, costs, schedules, safety, and quality throughout all phases of the construction process. Manage expectations, commitments and day-to-day operations with the clients, subcontractors, architects and owners, building trust and value throughout the construction process. Process Improvement / RFI / Change Management/ Document Control Participate in reviewing and evaluating documentation related to the planning, site investigation, design, construction, and contract administration. Responsible for all pay applications and change orders, etc. Attend project-related meetings, capture minutes, and record issues. Qualifications B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, related field and/or related construction experience. 3-10 years or more years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor in Commercial, Interiors, Restaurants or other Tenant Improvement, Renovation and Ground Up projects. Over 2M. To be successful, you need to be familiar with the South Florida area subcontractor and vendor market. Organized, team management, passionate and communication skills are also crucial to the success of the role. Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software are important.
