Concrete & Mid-Rise Building Construction Location:
Coconut Grove, Miami, FL Full-time | On-site We are currently seeking a General Superintendent with strong experience in concrete construction and medium-rise building projects (4-12 stories). This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily field operations, managing site teams, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and field staff Ensure strict compliance with plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve issues Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients Conduct daily site walks, manage reports, and oversee logistics and materials
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (Required) Minimum 10 years of experience in concrete and structural building projects Proven track record managing mid-rise construction (4-12 stories) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Deep knowledge of construction safety standards and quality control Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, and specifications
