BASIC PURPOSE
Administers and coordinates systems and projects that support Food & Beverage operational business strategy. Supports the department with other additional projects as needed.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, monitor and update multiple detailed project schedules which include administrative tasks, milestones and all essential team members involved in projects. Provide regular project progress updates.
Maintain and administer Food & Beverage databases with current recipes, SOP’s and related data for ship operations.
Work with Information Technology to maintain system functionality in fleet-wide dining outlet capacities in the reservation and table management system. Help optimize the public restaurant availability displays in the system to ensure availability is accurately represented within each restaurant.
Administer fleet-wide menu changes and revisions according to quarterly menu revision schedule. Coordinate all phases of revision schedule with essential departments. Review and update all presentations for the team according to company standard. Create and maintain documentation for standard operation procedures (SOP), while coordinating efforts with corporate management.
Assist with organizational and product management projects.
Perform other job related functions as assigned.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent; related trade school or certifications preferred or any equivalent combination of training and relevant work experience.
EXPERIENCE
Three years direct experience in Project Coordination. Experience in and knowledge of general aspects of hotel or cruise ship operations.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, to include intermediate-level Excel, Word and Outlook with advanced-level PowerPoint skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills to monitor and maintain project milestones and progress. Ability to organize and complete work in accordance within established timelines. Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects and shift priorities based on business demands. Interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with peers and superiors. Verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts. Ability to communicate information tactfully. Ability to maintain confidential proprietary company information. Ability to travel on occasions for projects (up to 10%).
