Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator serves as a direct support to the Director, assigned to work on specific projects which will require that you devote your productive time, ability, and attention to the business of Jackson Health System, and shall perform all duties in a professional, ethical and business manner. Your duties will be outlined by the Director of the department. This position acts in a confidential capacity to assist or aid department management. The position will have a significant role in processing confidential information.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works closely with the Director to craft work efforts in support of organizational culture, priorities and business impacts; while targeting key staff core competency growth areas. Performs research tasks and/or prepares reports, as may be requested. Reviews and responds to requests for information from internal departments. Monitors exactly where projects are on a daily basis in order to predict problems earlier and isolate issues that need to be address because of critical impact on each project. Facilitates the resolution of issues within the framework of the project team and escalates major issues to executive-level staff. Provides assistance, as requested, to executive staff with the development of their respective goals and plans. Demonstrates behaviors of service excellence and CARE values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Expertise). Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Experience Generally requires 1 to 3 years of related experience. Education Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred. Credentials Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.
