Miami, FL Job Overview Toledo Iron Works is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and coordinate our custom ornamental and miscellaneous metals projects. The ideal candidate will be an organized and proactive professional with excellent communication skills, hands-on field experience, and a strong understanding of metal fabrication. As we continue to expand, we’re seeking talented professionals who are motivated to contribute to our legacy of excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct field measuring and layout for Division 5 metals projects. Create and manage fabrication and installation paperwork. Perform quality control checks for metal fabrications and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications. Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, installers, and fabricators to ensure seamless project execution. Attend jobsite visits and participate in site meetings with project stakeholders. Interpret and work with architectural and structural plans, AutoCAD drawings, and PDFs. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for project management tasks and documentation. Update project status reports and maintain clear communication with internal and external teams. Schedule and coordinate installation timelines and activities. Continuously improve and streamline project management systems and processes. Demonstrate leadership and initiative to support the company’s growth and scalability.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction, with a strong preference for metals industry experience. Proven field experience with Division 5 metals (ornamental and miscellaneous metals). Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Familiarity with AutoCAD and PDF editing tools. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients. Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is preferred. Ability to commute to job sites throughout Miami, FL and surrounding areas. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
