The Project Manager is responsible for the successful management of assigned projects impacting Global Financial Systems (CGFS), from inception through implementation, in alignment with the GFiT PMO process. This role leads project planning, execution, and oversight to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The Project Manager drives collaboration across cross-functional teams, maintains communication and reporting, and ensures proper knowledge transfer to support teams’ post-implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage coordination across multiple projects and stakeholders, including GFiT teams, brand team members, and external vendors. Foster collaboration across all project contributors. Develop project schedules, plans, and communication tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, Teams) for assigned initiatives and enhancements. Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and stakeholders. Lead meetings that are outcome-driven, with clearly defined action items and follow-ups. Provide regular status reporting to GFiT PMO and leadership. Identify risks, manage mitigation plans, and escalate blockers to senior leadership as needed. Oversee project scope, timeline, and budget, ensuring accountability and ownership across workstreams. Coordinate RFP preparation, participate in vendor selection, and manage contract negotiations. Ensure final deliverables meet contract terms and business needs.
Education:
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field required.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within IT/Finance organizations, with expertise in application development and implementation. Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams. Experience with application development lifecycle, package implementation, and release management. PMP Certification required. Strong business acumen and understanding of finance/IT systems in a corporate environment. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed environment.
