US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work inthe U.S. Azure/ZScaler Remeditation Consultant Our client is a major enterprise based in Miami, FL, with a rapidlyexpanding business through acquisitions. They operate a dynamiccloud environment primarily leveraging Azure (80%) with some AWS(20%) and GCP exposure. Utilizing Zscaler as their cloud securityplatform. Will be conducting vulnerability assessments andautomation, integrating with APIs to streamline cloud securitymanagement.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer withdeep expertise in cloud architecture (primarily Azure) and strongproject management skills to join our client’s digitaltransformation journey. This role will involve overseeing theimplementation and management of cloud security tools andconfigurations, primarily within Azure environments. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams,evaluating risks, developing project timelines, and ensuring thesuccessful delivery of cloud security initiatives. This consultant will use Zscaler Cloud Security Posture Management(ZCSPM) to identify and fix misconfigurations and vulnerabilitieswithin the Azure environment. ZCSPM offers both automated andguided remediation options to ensure your Azure resources alignwith security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture Understanding:

Applyknowledge of Azure (and some AWS/GCP) to assess, configure, andoptimize cloud security systems, ensuring they meet theorganization’s evolving needs.

Risk Assessment & Configuration Management:

Evaluate risks and makerecommendations for cloud security configurations to ensurecompliance and minimize vulnerabilities.

Vulnerability Tool Management:

Work with the client’s CSPM securitytool to ensure effective vulnerability management and automation ofassessments, tracking and addressing any issues identified.

Documentation & Reporting:

Develop detailed project documentation,including project scopes, risk assessments, timelines, and statusreports. Ensure transparency and alignment with stakeholders.

Client Interaction:

Collaborate closely with the client in Miami,validating requirements, scope, and deliverables, while keepingthem informed of progress and challenges.

Key Qualifications:

Cloud Architecture Expertise:

Strongunderstanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure. Exposure toAWS and GCP is a plus.

Security and Vulnerability Management:

Familiarity with cloudsecurity tools and methodologies (e.g., CSPM, WIZ).

Stakeholder Management:

Ability to work with various teams andstakeholders, understand their needs, and translate those needsinto actionable project plans.

Risk Assessment:

Experience evaluating risks and implementingappropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Excellent Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the ability to explain technicalconcepts to non-technical stakeholders This candidate should have a strong understanding and experienceswith:

Enabling Azure Resource Locks:

Preventing accidental deletion or modification of criticalresources.

Configuring Network Security Groups:

Restricting network access toAzure resources.

Implementing Azure Storage Account Policies:

Enforcing securitysettings for storage accounts. Zscaler Tools for

Azure Remediation:

ZCSPM (Cloud Security PostureManagement): The main platform for managing security posture andperforming remediation. Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA): Provides secure internet access forAzure users and workloads. Zscaler Private Access (ZPA): Enables secure private applicationaccess for Azure resources.

Zscaler Cloud Connector:

A virtual appliance that can be deployedin Azure to connect to Zscaler services.
