Your company You’ll be part of a very recognized construction company with over 35 years of history and offices in the Miami & Fort Lauderdale area. Specialized in Commercial, Multifamily Mixed Use, Mid – High Rises, Hotels, Hospitality, and other important High Rise Projects over 50M. Responsibilities Support the VP/ Principals in managing contracts, costs, schedules, and quality throughout all phases of the construction process. Manage expectations, commitments and day-to-day operations with contractors, subcontractors, architects, design and all project stakeholders, building trust and value throughout the construction process. Participate in reviewing and evaluating documentation related to the planning, site investigation, design, construction, and contract administration. Review RFI, change orders, etc. Attend project-related meetings, capture minutes, and record issues. Process Improvement / RFI / Change Management / Scheduling Direct the GC to ensure their focus on schedule and budget Coordinate with Owner’s permit expeditor on all required inspections & governmental approvals Qualifications B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, related field and/or related construction experience. 10-15 years or more years of experience in the construction industry, preferably as a Developer/ Owner Rep / General Contractor in Multifamily, Hotel, Mixed Use High – Mid-Rise projects over 50M. To be successful, you need to be able to read construction drawings, coordination, and be familiar with the South Florida area subcontractor and vendor market. Organized, time management, passionate and communication skills are also crucial to the success of the role. Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software are important.
