NATURE OF WORK:

The Town of Golden Beach is seeking a versatile and visionary Strategic Projects Coordinator to assist the Town Manager in executing high-level initiatives. This role is perfect for an ambitious early-career professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage cross-departmental special projects assigned by the Town Manager Develop implementation plans and timelines for Town initiatives Collaborate with departments such as Public Works, Police, Parks, and Finance Serve as a bridge between operations, policy, and resident engagement Promote innovation, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions Manages complex projects, event planning and contract oversight Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Town Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning or a related field 1-3 years of relevant experience in government, consulting, or project management Exceptional organizational and communication skills Self-starter, highly adaptable, and passionate about public service Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and basic data analysis tools Strong interest in civic innovation, resident engagement, and process design Must hold valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

$55,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
