Architectural Project ManagerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Architectural Project Manager to join our team, initially supporting retail projects and later expanding to a variety of commercial endeavors. This position offers the unique opportunity to manage projects from conception through completion, leading a team in producing accurate construction drawings and providing essential services to meet client requirements. Responsibilities + Manage projections of billable work, staffing needs, and scheduling to meet client expectations. + Assess strengths and weaknesses of team members and monitor progress. + Develop and maintain client relationships, regularly contacting past clients for new work opportunities. + Prepare project budgets with appropriate profit margins and document necessary revisions. + Oversee all project phases from preliminary design through project closeout, ensuring quality reviews are conducted. + Review codes and ordinances and assure project documents meet firm and industry standards. + Pre-plan required drawings, details, and schedules, coordinating with Designers, Clients, and Consultants. + Supervise and produce construction drawings utilizing CADD skills, adhering to firm’s office standards. + Coordinate project activities with internal and external resources, communicating effectively with consultants, clients, and contractors. + Ensure quality assurance by reviewing and critiquing staff work and coordinating drawings and specifications. + Document all meetings, correspondence, and conversations related to projects. Essential Skills + Proficiency in architecture, Revit, and AutoCAD. + Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent experience. + 5-10 years of experience in commercial architecture. + Strong leadership skills and successful track record in drawing and document organization. + Engaging personality with the ability to lead others. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Revit experience is a plus. + Self-motivated, organized, and strong communication skills.
