More than 800 physicians, 450 advanced practice providers, and 2,600 clinical and support staff in over 40 specialties, provide patients with a broad range of medical and surgical services.

The role you’ll contribute:
The Performance Improvement Director provides strategic direction and oversight to the Process Improvement and Project Management functions across AdventHealth. Leads the development and execution of the portfolio of system-wide performance improvement projects, engaging with executive leadership at all levels. Ensures an effective program of training and competency-evaluation exists to enable performance improvement capabilities within markets and other corporate services functions. Oversees the development and ongoing deployment of performance measurement & analysis resources. The Director must effectively plan resources to deliver a balanced portfolio of quality improvement aligned with the strategic agenda of AdventHealth.

Serves as the organization-wide content expert on process improvement methods and imparts relevant details to senior leaders and staff. Continually expands/updates this knowledge.
Leads the development of a performance improvement culture and competence across the enterprise, including application of process improvement methodologies, change management, and formal project management
Ensures senior executive visibility and engagement in the portfolio of performance improvement projects, including the scoping, selection, resourcing, execution, monitoring, and closure of all projects in the PI portfolio
Develops strategic plan for Performance Improvement across the enterprise, using an assessment of the latest performance improvement practices and competitive environment
Selects, hires, and retains high-performing project managers, process improvement, and leaders to support execution of the PI strategic plan
Partners with market leaders, analytics teams, and other corporate services to identify new, high-value performance improvement opportunities.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
Bachelor’s with six or more years of relevant experience
Master’s with four or more years of relevant experience in Engineering
6 year’s experience
4 years of formal management experience
Proven experience in leading performance improvement projects, preferably in a complex organizational environment
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge and application of statistical analyses including financial variance analysis and statistical significance
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Clinical licensure
Change Management Certification
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
