The company has an immediate need for a Sr. Project Manager to work in their northern Orlando facility.
Position Focus:
- Overall project planning, scheduling and timely project completion
- Resource allocation
- Providing technical direction
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards
Position Duties:
- Project Planning & Communication
- Cost & Time Management
- Change Order Management
- Interpretation of architectural millwork / casework drawings and specifications
- Review of shop drawings for accuracy and compliance with plans and specifications, and overall scope coverage
- Reviewing red-line drawings with drafting and / or production as required
- Detailed review of all approvals and shop drawings to determine any change of scope or material substitutions impacting cost or schedule
- Monitoring / Tracking progress and inspecting work on construction sites
- Coordinating with external parties involved in the project – architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and laborers
- Coordinating the efforts of internal parties to ensure the continuous flow of information between Estimating, Drafting, and Production
- Maintaining work within budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
- Ensuring completion of project documentation

Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Wood Technology, or related field
- At least seven years’ experience in commercial millwork or wood technology
- Knowledge of Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) Standards
- Advanced to intermediate MS Excel skills
- Familiarity with using Bluebeam
- Able to read architectural drawings/blueprints.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution
- Have previously been a project manager or assistant project manager
