A healthcare organization in Orlando is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager. This role involves managing vendor application projects both within and outside of the M&As. About the Opportunity Monday -Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Responsibilities:
The Senior Information Technology Project Manager will be responsible for: managing vendor application projects both within and outside of the M&As. Managing all aspects of multiple simultaneous IT projects, including initiation, planning, implementation, and closure. Leading project teams and managing resources to achieve project objectives. Developing project plans, including work breakdown structures, risk management, and communication plans. Coaching and mentoring project team members and stakeholders on project management methodologies. Procuring and managing internal and external project resources and vendor contracts. • Ensuring compliance with project methodology and maintaining project documentation. Delivering weekly project status updates and managing project budgets. Conducting post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions.
Qualifications:
The PM must have at least 7 years’ experience managing large projects. Project budget management Vendor project management experience PMP required Professional, well spoken, energetic and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (associate’s degree with additional experience or High School diploma with additional experience) Experience with formal project management methodologies. Experience delivering software solutions to a large user base Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.
Desired Skills:
Additional years of experience in IT project management. Healthcare/Hospital experience preferred but not required. Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields.
