Early Learning Specialist The Guatemalan-Maya Center 1776 Lake Worth Road, Lake Worth, FL 33460 SPECIFIC
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support The Vision & The Mission of the Guatemalan Maya Center. Manage a caseload of 14 families, conducting twice-weekly home visits (30 minutes each). Follow home visit procedures and foster a welcoming environment for parents to engage. Maintain accurate records using the HBDS system and CSC guidelines. Submit organized and timely reports, ensuring compliance with program requirements. Attend weekly staff meetings and collaborate with team members. Promote verbal interaction between parents and children using books and toys provided. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism, adhering to HIPAA laws. Create work schedules tailored to client needs with supervisor approval.
Goals :
To handle duties Professionally. To Provide Excellent Administrative Support To the ParentChild+ Supervisor. To Ensure Work Products, Reports & Forms All Appear Professional, With No Errors.
Work Skills’ Requirements:
Ability to Work in a Fast Paced Atmosphere. Knowledge Of Microsoft Office Suite Proficient with Excel & Microsoft Word. File/Edit & Type At 50 = Wpm
QUALIFICATIONS
: (1) year experience working with children/families, Considerable knowledge and understanding of Childhood Development, Bilingual(English-Spanish ) Minimum High School Diploma/two years of college education, BA in Human Services field preferred. Must have experience working with young children (2 to 4-year-old), CDA is a plus. Bilingual/Trilingual with knowledge of bicultural factors related to the Mayan and Hispanic population. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and to work effectively with other community agencies in the best interest of the participant and the agency. Ability to use computer systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.
