Role Overview The Staging Designer will play a key role in designing, planning, executing, and managing staging projects. This person will ensure client satisfaction, deliver exceptional designs, and embody the REH Staging Design methodology versus traditional interior design. They will balance creativity with project management, collaborating closely with clients, vendors, and team members while adhering to tight deadlines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities Design Execution & Planning:
Develop and execute staging designs that reflect project goals and marketing plan Create pick lists and manage inventory accuracy (onsite and in the inventory management system). Plan space layouts, style, and edit designs to perfection.
Client & Team Coordination:
Interface gracefully with clients, especially under tight deadlines or pressure. Communicate effectively with team members and vendors to ensure smooth project execution. Maintain high emotional intelligence to anticipate needs and resolve issues proactively. Maintain accurate recording and documentation of projects
Resource Allocation:
Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets with efficiency and polish. Source and procure new products while staying updated on the latest design trends.
Customer Experience & Service:
Ensure client satisfaction by delivering exceptional staging designs. Embody a collaborative mindset where individual and team success are aligned. Success Indicators Proactively anticipates and communicates potential challenges, offering solutions. Consistently delivers designs aligned with client goals, within budget and timeframes. Understands and executes the distinct nuances of staging design versus interior design. Balances personal style with company standards, ensuring designs reflect well on the brand. Qualifications Required:
Proficient in Google Suite and general computer use (Mac and PC). Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a resourceful manner. Strong skills in space planning and design composition. Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service abilities.
Preferred:
Prior design experience (staging or interior design). 2-4 years of experience in a project management role.
