Laptop About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Marketing Project Manager to join our dynamic in-house marketing team. This individual will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives by managing complex marketing projects across various departments, including business units, financial advisors, and other internal clients. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage medium to large-scale marketing projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate cross-functional teams, collaborating with internal departments and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget. Gather and analyze project requirements, manage timelines, and oversee production processes. Utilize project management tools (experience with any software acceptable; Workamajig preferred but not required). Serve as a strategic liaison between marketing, creative, and client-facing teams. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and status reports. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues. Support and communicate project goals, updates, and results effectively to all stakeholders. Stay informed about industry and project management best practices to enhance process and delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience , ideally with both corporate/in-house marketing departments and/or marketing agency environments . Previous experience working in companies with complex marketing structures is highly preferred. Strong background in project coordination , ideally in a matrixed organization. Proficiency in using project management software platforms (Workamajig experience is a plus, but not required). Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Knowledge of current marketing trends, creative production processes, and agency operations. Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making. Ability to build trust and credibility across teams and levels of the organization. Additional Information This is a hybrid role based in St. Petersburg, FL – local candidates only. Role includes an initial in-office training period followed by a hybrid schedule (10 days/month in office). Strong performance and attendance may lead to a contract extension or full-time opportunity.
