JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for developing and managing projects through the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling and closing phases. Coordinate project efforts between internal resources and/or external resources. Manages the day-to-day relationship with project stakeholders, project team members and other project personnel. Candidate must be local. This is not a remote position, at this time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

(Other duties may be assigned as necessary.): Drive strategic initiatives, programs and system changes Deliver projects on schedule Ensure clear communication of information and expectations to project team members Define project scope, goals and deliverables Define project activity at the task level Manage project documentation Lead project issue resolution Identify and manage project risks Facilitate design and solution process Monitor and manage project scope Propose improvements to processes, policies, metrics, and tools. Assign tasks, coordinate resources, and facilitate conflict resolution Regularly communicate expectations, next steps, achievements, and issues Facilitate communication in complex, cross-department matters EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. 3+ years of IT project management experience Experience in healthcare/insurance industry preferred ITIL or ITSM certifications preferred PMP preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Application of project management processes Understanding of SDLC Excellent decision-making and leadership Critical thinking and problem solving Demonstrate flexibility with reprioritizing quickly to align with business needs Comfortable presenting to groups at level appropriate for project Supports a positive environment for all team members Highly proficient with MS Office Suite Proficient with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA)
