PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Project Manager will manage all aspects of complex projects from inception to conclusion. Identifies and communicates project scope and ensures project milestones and objectives are met. Collaboratively implement and develop the PMO (Project Management Office) at Formulated Solutions.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the planning and implementation of a project. Defines and maintain standards for project management within the organization. Standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. Define project tasks and resource requirements. Develop full scale project plans. Manage project resource allocation. Plan and schedule project timelines. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools. Provide direction and support to project team. Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders. Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. Create a working environment that allows everyone to work to the best of their abilities. Identifies project risks. At the point of contact on assigned projects, performs a variety of highly skilled duties such as: assembling, coordinating and managing multidisciplinary technical review teams. Facilitates and troubleshoots the myriad of problems associated with developing complex systems or with coordinating and development, and design projects. Provides highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel. Responds to inquiries about projects. Chairs various project review and pre-submittal meetings. Establishes and maintains liaison as required with boards, committees and commissions. Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures. Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties. Monitor all customer fee for service milestone and ensure they are both completed and billed on time. Other responsibilities will be assigned an on an as-needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

A. Required • Minimum 4 – 6 years’ experience in project management. B. Preferred Additional Pharmaceutical, OTC, and/or cosmetic industry experience a plus.
