Job Overview:

The Project Manager will lead and manage emergency response and recovery projects for clients in the public and private sectors. This includes coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop project plans and schedules, including resource allocation and task assignments. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the timely completion of projects. Monitor project progress and identify potential issues, developing and implementing solutions as necessary. Ensure that projects are completed within budget and to the client’s satisfaction. Communicate project status to clients and stakeholders, including progress updates and any potential issues. Maintain accurate and detailed project records, including budget and expenses. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners. Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring that all team members are aware of project goals and objectives. Continuously improve project management processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

Strong leadership and team management skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on emergency response and recovery projects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proven experience in budget management and expense tracking Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools Experience working in the emergency services or emergency management field is preferred Certifications in project management are a plus.
