Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will work directly under our Senior Project Manager, orchestrating every aspect of complex mechanical projects. Your role is all about ensuring seamless project delivery from start to finish, managing everything from planning and coordination to safety and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration:

Work directly under the Senior Project Manager to support the execution of projects.

Project Planning & Coordination:

Oversee project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely and successful outcomes.

Safety & Quality Control:

Manage safety and quality protocols to maintain high standards and compliance.

Budgeting:

Accurately forecast and manage project budgets to avoid overruns.

Change Order Management:

Handle change orders efficiently, adapting project scopes as necessary.

Subcontractor Management:

Oversee critical subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project goals.

Documentation:

Manage submittals and RFIs, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.

Procurement:

Handle equipment procurement to ensure all necessary resources are available.

Problem Resolution:

Address issues such as labor disputes, material delivery, and contract administration with agility.

Cross-Departmental Interface:

Collaborate with Design, Purchasing, and Fabrication departments to maintain clear communication and information flow.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PMP certification is a plus. At least 5 years of project management experience in the mechanical engineering sector. Strong leadership and exceptional communication skills. Proficiency in software based programs. Demonstrated success in managing complex projects effectively.
