Project Manager – Structural Steel 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 1100 Commonwealth Avenue North, Polk City, FL 33868 The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the project from award to completion. The PM ensures that client requirements and company standards are met or exceeded. They must be capable of managing both the technical aspects and site operations of the project. Additionally, the PM must be able to work effectively in a team environment while providing clear directions to the overall project team. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and company employees is essential. Qualifications 5 years of Steel Construction Management required Experience in large structural steel projects. Experience with working with detailers using Tekla, AISC Certifications, and Scheduling Software. Must be able to read structural steel shop drawings. Must be able to read architectural and structural plans. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Ability to coordinate with clients and build long term relationships.

Responsibilities:

Plan, direct, and coordinate the project from start to finish. Develop the pre-construction schedule and erection plan. Select and oversee work performed by subcontractors. Ensure construction is completed on schedule. Oversee the delivery of materials. Monitor compliance with regulations and specifications per AISC standards. Develop the schedule of values. Coordinate all document control processes. Oversee the overall project budget and cost tracking. Schedule internal meetings with the project team. Schedule pre-erection meetings with erectors and safety personnel. Coordinate shop drawings with the in-house detailing department.
