We are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager to direct our Construction Projects. This role is vital to our company’s success and requires someone with in-depth knowledge, skill, and experience in the construction industry, management, and leadership abilities. Summary We are seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our team at Southern Development & Construction. In this role, you will oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They are responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects, managing resources, and coordinating various stakeholders. This includes managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality control. Responsibilities Supervise and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and contractors to ensure alignment on project goals. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Review project plans and specifications to provide guidance on technical aspects. Prepare reports and documentation related to project status and performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during the construction process. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred. Proven experience in project management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices. Familiarity with software such as MicroStation and Bluebeam is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
