Job Description

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry, located in Seminole County, Florida, United States. The role of a Project Financial Manager is pivotal in the team, supervising crucial financial aspects of the growing division. The individual will be leading the team in managing project accounting, financial planning, and performance monitoring throughout the entire project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day project financial activities related to the division.
  • Lead a team in managing project accounting and financial planning.
  • Monitor performance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Drive efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply expertise in financial risk analysis.
  • Optimize the budget and negotiate contracts to support the organization’s financial health and strategic objectives.
  • Apply knowledge of percentage (%) of completion.
  • Utilize Revenue Accounting skills.
  • Employ SAP in daily operations.

  • The applicant should have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in Percentage (%) of Completion method of accounting is essential
  • Experience in Revenue Accounting is required
  • Proficiency in using SAP software is necessary
  • Familiarity with Annual Close Processes is crucial
  • The applicant should have a history of successful financial project management
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is necessary
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required; a Master’s degree or ‘detail oriented’ certification is preferred.
