Shaffer Services•Shaffer’s Electrical Contracting, Inc., is in Sanford, Florida, about 25 miles north of Orlando. The Company is seeking a full-time experienced Project Manager to oversee electrical projects in a commercial setting.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of electrical projects from planning, estimating/bid, scheduling, budgeting to implementation. Estimating and analyzing blueprints to determine amount, type, and cost of materials and fixtures needed for each electrical project. Determine the potential profitability of projects in making sound bidding decisions. Negotiate with customers to receive reasonable order costs. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients. Allocate resources for assigned projects. Supervise, direct, and lead the work of field staff. Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met. Correlate field staff time with projects. Maintain required project documentation and updates. Maintain quality workmanship that adheres to original plans and specifications. Perform tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of strong project management experience in electrical management in a commercial setting. Strong negotiation skills coupled with strong analysis and critical thinking. Must be proficient in electrical estimating software Accubid. Buildertrend and Blue Beam a plus. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have sound knowledge in electrical codes. Deadline and detailed-oriented. Strong leadership qualities. Must have a valid and insurable driver’s license to operate a company vehicle. Availability and flexibility in day, night, and weekend shift as needed. Must be able to travel in and outside of Florida.
Salary Range :
$80,000 to $100,000 Annually.
