The Project Manager is Manson’s authorized project representativewith responsibility for all aspects of the project includingsafety, environmental, quality, ethics, financial, contractual, andschedule compliance. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities ofdesignated project to ensure that goals or objectives of projectare accomplished within prescribed time frame and fundingparameters by performing the following duties personally or throughsubordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional duties may be assigned. Leadership of the project team including motivating, managing,teaching and mentoring the members to create an efficient teamworking in a positive work environment. Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting anIncident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment. Executes the project by ensuring all work meets quality standardsand is performed in compliance with all contract and permitrequirements. Reviews project proposal/plan to determine and coordinate timeframes, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project,staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources tovarious phases of project. Responsible for the timely completion of the work by utilizing aCPM baseline schedule and monthly schedule updates that aresubmitted and approved by the client. Schedules and ensures adequate resources are available to theproject including management staff, crews, equipment andsupplies. Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensureproject progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget. Effectively communicates contract changes, entitlement argumentsand time/cost impact analysis. Responsible for all contractnegotiations with the client and vendors. Conducts negotiations ingood faith based on fairness, cooperation and standard of businessethics. Responsible for the financial success of the project. Ensuresfinancial progress is tracked accurately and that labor, cost andforecast reports are completed weekly/monthly. Work as member of the estimating team during the projectprocurement phase. Ensures compliance with Manson’s Code of Ethics and Standards ofBusiness Conduct. Maintain a high standard of ethical behavior,encourages ethical behavior in others, supports ethical decisionsand actively seeks appropriate resolution to potential ethicalconflicts.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads and directly supervises employees on a construction site.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with theorganization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and trainingemployees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraisingperformance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressingcomplaints and resolving problems. Directs best work practices inconjunction with the Project Sponsor and/or VP/Area Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE B.S.
degree in a technical area of study, typically CivilEngineering, Coastal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, OceanEngineering, or Construction Management and minimum of 10-15 yearsof relevant experience. Project management and supervisoryexperience required. Marine, structures, heavy lifts, or concreteconstruction experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable drivingrecord. First Aid/CPR Certification, preferred. 30 hour OSHA Certification, preferred Fall Protection Competent Person, preferred
COMPUTER SKILLS
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite(Word/Excel/Outlook/SharePoint) and be experienced with scheduling,estimating and project management software- HCSS & Primavera,preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position is primarily a field position, and will require travel,including visits and monitoring of construction job sites. Employeemust be able to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE)required of various construction work environments (hard hats,personal floatation devices, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toedshoes, respirators, etc. The employee is required to stand, walk,use stairs, ladders, and step stools and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds andmay occasionally lift and/or up to 50 pounds. Must be able to navigate stairs, ladders and gangways, board, workon and disembark floating vessels and structures. The noise levelin the work environment is moderate to loud.
