Baxter:
This multifaceted role, in the healthcare software industry, is pivotal within Baxter Care Communications. The Project Manager (PM) is a field-based role, responsible for the planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of Baxter Care Communications customer-awarded projects per Project Management specifications.
Care Communications project managers are responsible for all aspects of the client project engagement from sales hand-off to transition to ongoing support. Further, PMs play an integral role in planning customer technology roadmaps and customer attainment strategy. Key activities include project planning, prioritization and coordination, project risk assessment and mitigation, revenue forecasting, customer communication and internal collaborator management.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Act with autonomy as the primary point of contact for all client project related needs during an active implementation.

Provide strong, proactive, project leadership. Drive follow-ups.
Lead project scope and results across multiple, concurrent engagements.
Continually assess and prioritize defined sequence tasks, within strict schedules, through individual effort and coordination of the work of others.
Deploy customer specific communication strategy to achieve desired results.
Meet or exceed established PMO metrics including revenue forecasting, assigned project reporting/results, customer revenue/project count loads, and customer happiness reporting.
Host in-person and remote meetings. Translate technical information from technical to non-technical resources to meet project requirements
Consult with customers and Baxter sales team on long-term technology strategy. Understand the outstanding challenges facing each customer and offer custom solutions.
Act as a resource for sales team during long-term planning sessions.
Define a clear revenue management strategy that enables revenue goal attainment.
Balance the backlog of your customer with knowledge of short, mid, and long-term orders

What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree or experience in healthcare, IT, business, or related industry.
3+ years in IT project management; preferably with external customer projects.
History working within customers’ IT departments. Ability to discuss networking, virtual server deployments, IT security concerns, remote connectivity, and software deployment methodology.
Health care environment experience desired.
PMP or other industry related certification(s) a plus.
Experience with consultative project management approach.
Ability to facilitate, run and empower large, diverse groups without direct line authority.
Validated capability of interactions with customer’s ‘C’ level management, and Baxter senior management.
Confirmed ability to optimally communicate critical instruction, both written and verbal.
Positive and self-motivated demeanor and ability to work through sophisticated issues, customer politics, and personalities.

The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 – $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
