$61.1K – $74.9K a year 9 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft Powerpoint Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel 5 years Driver’s License Rigging Computer skills Senior level Full Job Description Job Purpose The basic duties of the Project Manager are to receive and process internal requests for proposals, ensure equipment is assigned properly, manage gear utilization, assist coordinating cross rental fulfillment, and manage on site projects as assigned. Duties and responsibilities Engage with the events estimator to prepare and distribute proposals based on client needs and equipment availability Complete technical diagrams to facilitate on site events and supplement the sales process Manage Lasso projects to book equipment Analyze potential equipment shortages for possible substitutions Coordinate any cross-rental needs from various vendors with support from sales, estimator, and operations manager Assist the Sales staff with site visits, client support, technical support, or on-site support as needed or assigned Project Manage / Lead events on site as assigned Maintain accurate hour tracking against assignments for assigned crews and self Work with the operations manager to keep Lasso as accurate as possible Make recommendations to the sales / operations staff for possible up sale opportunities, gear substations, staffing, and systems workflows Prepare show files in Lasso for on-site staff / PM / Sales to ensure accuracy while producing events Schedule, Attend, and participate (via phone or in person) all Pre-Conference and Post Conference meetings Other duties as assigned Qualifications Candidates for the Project Coordinator position must meet the following minimum qualifications to successfully perform the job. These are the qualifications that are preferred for someone to be considered for the position. 5+ Years of Live Event experience in a specialist position or higher Strong knowledge of Audio-Visual gear and best practices Working knowledge of standard rigging procedures and installations Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record Vectorworks experience Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with live events and event production Must be familiar with basic PC computer operations. Must be an organized self-starter and have a willingness to follow processes. Strong ability to formulate plans and projections and effectively communicate those plans to others both internal and external is necessary Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before small groups of employees and one-on-one to customers Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers and the general public. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to deal with and interpret nonverbal symbolism (formulas, graphs, blueprints, etc.)
