Project Coordinator, Commercial Roofing Northside Building Services 322 Northpoint Pkwy SE, Acworth, GA 30102 Job Overview This role is responsible for assisting project management and operations in the day-to-day tasks of managing commercial roofing projects, from initial planning to project closure. This includes tasks like scheduling, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, managing paperwork, and ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
Responsibilities Project Planning and Scheduling:
Assisting with the creation and maintenance of project schedules, timelines, and milestones.
Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination:
Communicating with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services and addressing any issues that may arise.
Paperwork and Documentation:
Managing project documentation, including contracts, change orders, submittals, and other relevant documents.
Communication and Reporting:
Maintaining communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders, and preparing project status reports.
Change Order Management:
Working with project managers to accurately enter and manage change orders.
On-Site Support:
Attend pre-construction and subcontractor meetings, interim site visits during project duration, providing on-site support to roofing crews, ensuring materials are delivered on time, and addressing any issues that may arise.
Quality Control:
Assisting with quality control checks to ensure roofing work meets project specifications.
Project Closeout:
Assisting with project closeout activities, including final inspections and project documentation. Skills and Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Knowledge of roofing materials, systems, and installation techniques.
