5-STAR Building Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for the management and delivery of Commercial Multifamily Wood Framing projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Plan and execute large Wood Framing projects focused on Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Budget Direct and lead project plan in conjunction with field staff Create staging, logistics, and phasing plan for project Have lead responsibility for project quality control plan implementation and compliance Serve as the main office point of contact for the General Contractor leading customer service efforts Responsible for project startup, including managing jobsite mobilization, production, and closeout Facilitate General Contractor startup meeting Attend/assist regular project meetings Schedule of Value development and billing Manage vendor and subcontractor performance Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met Maintain required project documentation utilizing Procore software Help in development, planning, and updating/maintenance of overall project schedule and related tasks in Wrike software Contribute to material management with understanding of takeoffs and knowledge of project Create and manage submittal packages Manage RFIs Manage Change Orders Help in estimating efforts Mentor and train assistants and intern students

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field Minimum 2 years of Commercial Multifamily construction experience for Assistant Project Manage position Minimum 5 years of Commercial Multifamily construction experience for Project Manager position
