Position Overview:
The primary duties of this position include successful leadership of multiple projects and key client relationships for projects in our PMO group The ideal candidate will be well connected and respected in the in telecommunications, infrastructure and energy industry as a problem solver for clients and business partners. The Director of PMO will manage, direct and take ownership of project controls, construction, technical and engineering efforts led by YMC. This person will be responsible for working with office and field staff, providing project management, cost and scheduling technical support and be YMC’s designated subject matter expert for all project management efforts. This person will also interface with manufactures and suppliers. The Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining a professional and satisfactory relationship with the Owners, subcontractors, regulatory agencies and other project stakeholders Ability to work remote temporarily but will require 10 -15% travel to project site for reporting on project milestones, performance, safety, quality, and budget
Specific Responsibilities:
Ensure safety, quality and productivity is maintained Strategically generate leads, identify, qualify and secure opportunities to generate sales revenue Understand technical aspects of YMC services and engage customers in a consultative approach by having a deep understanding of the work, our processes, and industry trends Participate in the management of 3rd party subcontract firms supporting efforts for projects being managed by YMC (design, scheduling, performance of equipment, etc.) Work collaboratively with YMC leadership, engineering, bid management, finance and operations to source and structure deals that deliver value to our customers Work with Sales Support Team to lead the effort in responding to RFPs and presenting proposals to customers Present large opportunities requiring investment to the leadership committee; conduct associated financial modeling and assessment of growth opportunities, risk’s and operational requirements Support accurate and timely forecast of sales opportunities

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related degree 10+ years of industry experience Professional Engineering (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification preferred.

$130,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
