Responsibilities:
The Project Controls Manager reports directly to the Project Executive. Prepare and maintain project tracking tools. Establish document control procedures with input from the client, the Architect, and the contractor. Once document control procedures are established, the Project Controls Manager shall participate in and ensure the project team is complying with required project documentation. The areas of project documentation that a Project Controls Manager shall maintain include, but are not limited to, the following: Project Schedule Earned Value Financial Performance Procurement Assistance and Bid Tabulation (if necessary) Requests for Information (RFIs)
Submittals Field Reports Construction Documents Addendum, Bulletins, Change Directives Meeting Minutes Project Correspondence As-Built Information Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in architecture and/or construction may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience in the aviation industry is preferred but not required. Experience using Revit and CADD techniques and principles is a bonus. Extensive knowledge of architectural systems, interior and exterior, with fundamental knowledge of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
