What You Get to Do Conduct construction site visits to assess work-in-place, project progress, as well as adherence to schedule and budget. Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures. Determine project changes and monitor project budgets through cost tracking reports. Ensure that projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project. Review general contractor’ pay applications to determine financial feasibility within the project budget and time. Review project draw packages and all supporting documentation, including pay applications, lien waivers, change orders, contracts, invoices, etc. to provide an opinion for funding. Prepare reports on completeness and accuracy of project documentation. Review project contracts such as agreements between owners & contractors; owners & architects; and owners & engineers for any omissions, deficiencies, and issues. Review technical drawings, specifications, project hard cost budgets and take offs. Perform ALTA Survey reviews and other various construction-related, technical documentation. What You’ll Bring Bachelor degree of Technology, Construction, Structural Engineering, or Civil Engineering, or foreign equivalent and two years of experience as a Construction Engineer. 2 years experience with/in Reviewing drawings and specifications Reviewing pay applications Preparing project progress reports Contracts administration Carrying out construction site inspections Detailed job description available upon request.
