Responsibilities
This PM/SM will manage work in both SAP Finance and
LMIS. LMIS
is a proprietary application to track and maintain locomotive maintenance activities such as labs, fueling, shopping, and inspections.
Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.
Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
Provides day-to-day direction to project resources.
Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports, and budgets.
This role will serve as Scrum Master as required by projects
Require Skills & Experience
Certified Scrum Master and at least 3+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master leading a software development team actively applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory, and knowledge of additional Agile approaches (Scaled Agile, Kanban).
Experience with
SAP S/4HANA
cloud implementation.
Experience with SAP Finance areas, specifically
SAP FI, FI TAX, SAP PI/PO.
Experience managing external vendors in agile ceremonies and processes.
Proven experience managing implementation projects with work efforts shared across multiple 3rd party vendors and/or system integrators.
Must have capability to function as a Scrum Master across two teams with no conflicts.
Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.
Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience managing cloud software projects, as well as experience managing large, complex projects with multiple work streams, leading combined communications across scrum teams and coordinating deliverables to avoid conflict/collisions with other teams and projects. (PREFERRED)
