The Position This position is a member of the OperationsDepartment . The Project Manager will report directly to the VP ofOperations. This position will be responsible for being the primarypoint of communication interface between internal and externalcustomers for respective projects. Job Description We are seeking ahighly organized and results-driven Project Manager to oversee andmanage manufacturing projects from inception to completion. Theideal candidate will have experience in project management andengineering within a manufacturing environment and proficiency inproject management tools to ensure the efficient execution ofprojects. Candidate will lead project teams, develop project plans,manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery within scope andbudget.
Primary Responsibilities Cross-Department Coordination :
Establish regular and efficient communication channels betweenengineering, design, manufacturing, sales, and quality assuranceteams to ensure seamless project execution and prompt resolution ofany interdepartmental issues.
Clear Definition of Project Scope :
Develop and maintain a comprehensive project scope document thatoutlines customer contract requirements, project deliverables,timelines, and success criteria for multiple projects, ensuring allstakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the projectlifecycle.
Quality Assurance :
Ensure Bartell is maintaining therequired quality control processes and inspections to ensure thatall capital equipment engineered and manufactured meets or exceedscustomer specifications and industry standards.
Budget Management :
Closely monitor project expenses and resource allocation to ensurethat all projects are completed within the allocated budget,identifying and mitigating cost overruns and financial riskspromptly. Report monthly project updates to the entire ExtendedLeadership Team.
On-Time Delivery :
Develop and maintain detailedproject schedules, regularly tracking progress against milestonesand adjusting plans as necessary to ensure that all customer ordersare delivered on or ahead of the agreed-upon deadlines.
CustomerSatisfaction :
Assist Sales in fostering relationships withcustomers by providing regular updates on project status,addressing any concerns or feedback promptly, and ensuring that thefinal deliverables meet or exceed their expectations.
Post ProjectReviews:
Schedule project reviews with the team as needed toidentify opportunities for improvement for future projects.
ProjectManagement Structure:
Advance Project Management tools to readilytrack and report project status to include cost trends, timelinecompletion, task ownership, contractual risks, contractdeliverables, customer requirements, and any other variable deemedimportant in the execution of our capital sales projects. JobRequirements Education Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or5 years of applicable experience within the capital equipment,industrial automation, project coordination and training orcomparable industry. Technical/Engineering experience (GD&Tprinciples and FEA application in machine design/testing) highlypreferred. Strong manufacturing experience in direct customerrelations with ability to lead and motivate cross functional teamsPossess strong technical and analytical background includingproject management tools (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Monday.com andPower BI to track project status, risks and milestones).Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to identifyissues, propose solutions and execute corrective actionsefficiently Strong written and verbal communication skills, withthe ability to communicate complex technical concepts tonon-technical stakeholders Skills & Relevant Work ExperienceExperience with 3D CAD software (E.G., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) andproduct life cycle management (PLM) systems preferred Proactivedecision analysis capabilities; takes into consideration size,complexity, visible and unknown risks, timelines, etc. Ability tomanage projects that may cross over to other locations. Preparationand communication of project status meetings and escalation ofcritical issues. Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, andoperational guidelines related to established quality managementsystem (ISO 9001). Maintains working knowledge of safety policiesand regulations to ensure duties of self and others performed in asafe manner.

Compensation Range:
