F&A Project Manager Roofing Corp of America Atlanta, GA The Finance & Accounting (F&A) Project Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, coordination, and delivery of finance and accounting workstreams within the ERP implementation. This role oversees the planning and execution of financial process transformation and system integration activities as well as ensuring all financial and master data processes support enterprise and BU requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
F&A Process Transformation :
Oversee the evaluation and redesign of the creation of a single enterprise financial and accounting structure and processes (e.g., chart of accounts, job costing, general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, financial reporting) to align with ERP capabilities.
MDM Ownership :
Define and implement the MDM strategy, focusing on finance-related master data (e.g., vendor, customer, material, cost objects). Govern data ownership, stewardship, and data quality standards to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across business units. Lead the design and validation of MDM hierarchies and integration points with ERP and downstream systems.
Data Migration & Validation :
Ensure the successful design and execution of MDM strategies, with emphasis on financial master data (vendor, customer, material, cost objects). Oversee data cleansing, mapping, and migration activities related to financial data and master data from legacy systems to the ERP. Coordinate with technical teams to validate migration scripts, reconcile migrated data, and ensure financial reporting integrity post-migration. Integrate the UAT Team to ensure the QA quality life cycle for data
Collaboration :
Act as the liaison between executive leadership and accounting teams to translate business needs into system design and configuration.
Compliance :
Confirm controls in financial reporting, compliance, and master data quality; implement mitigation strategies to ensure audit-readiness and SOX compliance. Establish processes for ongoing data quality management and audit-readiness
UAT :
Ensuring core F&A process & activities success through the execution of F&A UAT activities
Deliverables:
Confirmation of enterprise F&A process flows supporting all BU activities Project status reports and executive dashboards Risk and compliance documentation Confirmation of financial master data standards Enterprise F&A data standards & consolidated enterprise master data Documentation of Master Data Models & ETL Processes for legacy data
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. 10+ years experience in Master Data Management and financial data systems. 10+ years experience in Key Financial Processes (e.g. General Ledger, Job Costing) Strong understanding of master data management, governance and compliance standards in large organizations Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders Construction industry experience, Netsuite or Microsoft Dynamics experience and relevant certifications are a plus
