POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Project Manager manages the overall project direction, completion and financial outcome for assignedprojects. Responsible for directing and mentoring on-site staff. The positionrequires business management acumen and must demonstrate strongleadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as strongcommunication and client service skills.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads implementation of Operation Zero and all Manhattan safetypolicies All qualities/ responsibilities of a Project Manager 4, plus: Leads Strategy Conflict Resolution Process with Owners with PDGuidance Serve as Lead Owner/Client Interface Serve as Client – Project Executive Point of Contact Co-Lead Pursuit Strategy with Marketing/Business DevelopmentAssistance Oversight of Change Management Process Develops Project Staffing Plan Oversees successful development and implementation of ProjectExecution Plan Able to Manage Large, Complex, and/or Multiple Jobs Review & Approve Project Execution Plan Assists in negotiating and finalizing Owner Contract AgreementsOther duties as assigned Responsible for conducting themselves in accordance with ourGuiding Principles and exhibiting attributes matching the Way WeWork. Other duties as assigned
JOB SKILLS & ABILITIES GUIDELINES
Has completed OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification and First Aid &CPR Training and Certification. Effective Communicator Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Officeproducts Proven experience in Manhattan document control and schedulesoftware Thorough understanding of the industry Strong written and verbal communication skills Good math/accounting skills Strong management skills Functions effectively as part of a team Ability to develop or maintain relationships with clients Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at alltimes Dependability Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong decision-making/problem-solving skills Comfortable public speaking skills Thorough understanding of contracts and riskmanagement
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree- Construction Management, Engineering orequivalent. May substitute required education degree with relatedexperience on a one-to-one basis 15 years of industry experience Proven ability to manage multiple projects in excess of $75million
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORTS
You must be adaptable to all types of weather conditions andtraverse and inspect all areas of a construction job site,including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, orstretching. Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, andsquat throughout the day. Ability to repeat the same movements. Ability to communicate effectively to participate fully inmeetings, video conferences, and phone calls. Ability to compose, send, and reply to emails and writtencorrespondence. Must be able to lift, pull, or move up to 50 pounds at atime. Travel may be required occasionally, primarily in themetropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a validDriver’s License). Exposure to characteristic construction site hazards.
