WHAT WILL YOU DO

This position will provide support to the Center for Urban Language Teaching & Research.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Oversee the daily operations of CULTR, including management of part-time staff and student workers, project management, meeting and event coordination, and dissemination of information. Responsible for correspondence, scheduling, purchasing, networking, and outreach to expand CULTR ‘s influence and create new partnerships, as well as other duties as requested by the Director. Assist with creating and editing monthly newsletter with the work and mission of CULTR, including adding a newsletter to the GSU website. Responsible for recruiting instructors for CULTR’s Summer Teacher Professional Development Workshops; recruitment period from January to May yearly.

Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
Field of Study:

Language Education; Foreign Language Education; Applied Linguistics. Teaching Language Certificate; Foreign Language Education background/teaching experience. Task management experience.
