Our Restoration & Emergency Response Division specializes in rapidly mobilizing teams to rebuild after disasters , whether it’s a structural collapse, flood, fire, or other catastrophic event. We are seeking a skilled Traveling Project Manager with proven experience in restoration construction to lead projects across the country, with a home base in or near Atlanta, GA .

Position Overview:

As a Traveling Project Manager , you will oversee fast-moving, complex restoration and reconstruction projects—often under emergency conditions. You’ll lead all aspects of planning, budgeting, coordination, and execution in collaboration with clients, adjusters, engineers, and field teams. You must be a proactive problem solver, able to manage chaos calmly, and willing to travel frequently on short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full lifecycle of restoration and reconstruction projects , from initial mobilization to final close-out. Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and insurers to ensure successful project execution. Develop and manage project budgets, scopes, schedules, RFIs, change orders, and documentation. Oversee material procurement, subcontractor contracts, and permits for fast-paced projects. Communicate regularly with clients, adjusters, and stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Lead OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and provide accurate project reporting. Travel frequently and be available for deployment in response to disasters across the U.S.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in restoration or disaster recovery construction Proven background managing fast-paced, high-pressure emergency projects Strong understanding of restoration methods, safety requirements, and structural systems Experience working with insurance carriers, adjusters, or Xactimate scopes is highly valued Ability to manage multiple trades and shifting priorities on job sites under stress Proficiency in project management platforms (Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend, etc.) OSHA 30 Certification required; additional safety or restoration certifications are a plus Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills Must be willing and able to travel extensively (70%-90%) Based in or near Atlanta, GA (preferred, not mandatory) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Nino Development is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
