We provide our clients and partners with personalized service and support to accomplish their goals. Streamline payroll processing, automate HR workflows, and elevate the employee lifecycle with a single-system platform. We are APS, and we are a workforce partner for our clients. We are on the grow again and searching for a Project Manager. The Project Manager manages the implementation and transition of on-boarding clients from sales to customer support following the prescribed workflow documentation. This position is located onsite at our corporate offices in Shreveport, LA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Setting expectations with the onboarding client on project scope. Engaging the ongoing client with best practices on company configuration, as well as assignment of task owners in the onboarding process. Maintains the alignment of the project on desired outcome. Monitor the progress of project milestones and deliverables to encourage timely project completion. Collaborates with the Implementation Teams, as well as other Depts and the onboarding client, to address issues as they arise, in a timely manner. Coordinates on change management strategy with Implementation Teams, Specialist Teams, and other Departments as needed. Ensure company set up review is finalized prior to first payroll submission. Follow the developed project communication plan in accordance with department procedures. Work with the client to ensure successful completion of two payroll submissions, based on department procedures and transition the onboarding client from Implementation to Client Support. Collaborate with Client Services Teams for client training and successful transition to the Support Team. Other responsibilities as needed or assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The list below is representative of the qualifications, skills, and abilities required and preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Two years of project management preferred. Three years of experience in payroll, group benefits, and systems management and support preferred. Must have a working knowledge and understanding of software systems. Experience in human resources is beneficial. FPC (or equivalent substitute) preferred. Ability to manage multiple implementations and handle multiple tasks with little supervision Highly focused and analytical. Strong observation and problem-solving skills. Strong client centric focus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong planning and organizing skills and attention to details. Ability to work with people and work as part of a team. Must be able to work in an environment in which constant deadlines exist. Must be able to work the hours necessary to successfully perform in this position. Must understand all company guidelines, procedures, and workflow.
