Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our multifamily construction team. This individual will play a key support role in managing the planning, coordination, and execution of multifamily residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in overseeing all phases of multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Coordinate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes. Support in managing project schedules, ensuring that milestones and deadlines are met. Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services and materials. Help track and manage project budgets, cost reporting, and forecasting. Attend and document project meetings; distribute meeting notes and follow up on action items. Conduct site walks and inspections to support quality control, safety compliance, and construction progress. Assist with permitting, inspections, and coordination with local jurisdictions as needed. Maintain organized and up-to-date project files, both digital and hard copy. Provide support in resolving construction issues and conflicts as they arise.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in construction project management, preferably within multifamily or commercial residential construction. Familiarity with construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project administration. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
