Electrical Project Manager KCES Jefferson, LA 70121 Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, project scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of electrical projects, including planning, execution, and close-out. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with estimators and engineers. Coordinate and supervise field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, electrical codes, and regulatory standards. Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues as they arise. Oversee procurement of materials, tools, and equipment needed for each phase. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure alignment with project plans. Review and approve change orders, invoices, and project documentation. Foster strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and project partners. Requirements Proven experience (5+ years) managing commercial and/or industrial electrical projects. Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred (or equivalent knowledge). Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA safety standards, and local regulations. Proficient in project management software and construction documentation. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
