Special Projects Coordinator Pay:

$62,000/year Hybrid in New Orleans Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Science, a social science, or closely related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in a behavioral health, public health, or closely related field (a Master’s degree in one of the listed fields may be substituted for 2 years of the required experience)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Background in harm reduction
• Experience facilitating meetings between multiple agencies Nice to Have Skills & Experience

This plays a leading role in developing creative and effective ways to address opioid and drug related issues, through collaboration, research, and policy guidance. Responsibilities include grant writing, contract development and monitoring, convening stakeholder meetings, monitoring local and national trends related to drug use, drafting policy recommendations, writing annual reports, conducting trainings, and supervising at least one staff member. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity and will follow a hybrid schedule. This role will be offered at the annual salary of $62,390 and includes full benefits.
