BRIEF DESCRIPTION
  • The National Project Director
  • Senior
  • is responsible for sellingand managing large and/or complex, new business opportunitiesthrough leads and referrals generated by personal businessdevelopment activities as well as from other BluSky sales teammembers. The National Project Director
  • Senior markets tocommercial property owners and managers, and commercial insuranceadjusters and brokers to receive referral relationships forrestoration sales in addition to collaborating and selling withother members of the BluSky sales team.
  • Salary Range:

    $125,000

  • $175,000 Commission Auto Allowance
  • PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sales
  • Meets or exceeds sales and profitability goals.
  • Negotiates and executes contracts on behalf of the company.
  • Achieves profit margins in line with company goals.
  • Generates, manages, and closes sales leads generated from companyand personal referral sources.
  • Participates in industry functions and national trade shows asappropriate.
  • Estimating
  • Inspects and determines the appropriate scope of repairs.
  • Generates and presents complete and professional bid proposals andtime and material billing packages.
  • Prepares estimates or Rough Order of Magnitude (MOD’s) promptly andaccurately
  • Train and assist others on the team as needed.
  • Work closely with the inside estimating department on large sellingopportunities
  • Project Coordination
  • Provide all project information to Project Manager and ProjectAccountant including budget, completion date, and all otherrelevant information.
  • Mentor local Project Directors and assist with large and / orremote projects.
  • Foster close working relationships with subcontractors and vendorpartners
  • Ensure production team understands scope, budget and schedule
  • Obtain and submit subcontractor bids as needed
  • Ability to show a justified job cost prior to transitioning theproject to a Project Manager
  • Obtain all signed change orders for all changes to the project, asrequired
  • Act as a positive liaison between BluSky, the customer, and theProject Manager.
  • Check in with all clients weekly once theproject has been assigned to a Project Manager
  • Ensure weekly communication commitments are kept.
  • Work closely with Account Collections team to ensure timelyinvoicing and collections.
  • National & Regional Catastrophe Response
  • Must be able to regularly respond to catastrophic events throughoutthe United States

  • Ability to build inter-company relationships and trust with RVPS,Vice Presidents, RSDs, Project Directors, Business DevelopmentManagers, and others through the organization.

  • Ability to establish relationships and build trust throughout theorganization.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage timeeffectively, including the ability to multi-task and work in anenvironment with changing priorities.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict and facilitate successful outcomes
  • Estimating proficiency and bid proposal package experience.
  • Self-motivated to succeed, with the ability to seek out uniqueresolutions to problems.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
  • This role has no direct reports.
  • QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • 10+ years recent marketing/business development and salesexperience in the restoration industry with a proven track recordof sales growth.
  • Extensive large loss and catastrophe experience.
  • Must be able to attend Business Development networking functions,sometimes after hours.
  • Must be able to travel up to 70% plus in response to both emergencyand non-emergency losses across the nation.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience utilizing Xactimate software and Time and Materialmethodologies, preferred.
  • Experience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, preferred
  • EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, ConstructionManagement, or related field preferred.
  • TRAVEL:
  • Requires 70% travel.
  • Additional travel may be expected fortraining or meetings.
