We are also honored to be ENR’s 2024 Southeast Design Firm of the Year . Our Architecture Team is actively seeking an Education Practice Leader / Project Manager in our New Orleans, LA office. The candidate will plan for and participate in business development activities to identify, develop, win, and execute project opportunities and build and maintain client relationships. This role includes managing multiple assigned architecture projects at various stages, leading and mentoring staff assigned to your team, and include overseeing timely and profitable completion. These projects will primarily focus on K-12 schools and Higher Education projects; but may also include other project types beyond education. The qualified candidate will consult daily with clients, participate in, or lead the design, guide technical decisions, prepare contract documents, cost estimates and schedules, coordinate with reviewing agencies, coordinate bidding and award, construction administration and coordination of project closeout. This position holds a tremendous opportunity to be the lead architect on all facets of the education work we do here in Louisiana.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Licensure as a registered architect is required 10+ years of experience working as project manager or equal role Must have advanced knowledge of REVIT Must be a self-starter, team player and able to establish good working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, team members, and other employees Must be able to perform work related travel and hold a valid driver’s license Travel requirements: Travel to client site as needed mostly in Louisiana. Travel expenses are reimbursable.
