Laitram, LLC, a global manufacturing company located in Harahan, Louisiana has an opening for a full-time Project Coordinator in the Legal and Risk Department reporting to Corporate Counsel and with responsibilities on both the Product Stewardship Team and the External Compliance Team. In this role, the individual will focus on specific tasks related to documents managed by the product stewardship team and providing specific support to the Regulatory Affairs specialist in connection with new materials compliance and compliance information requests from customers. This role will primarily support Intralox, but could also be involved in other divisions as needed. Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and project support for Intralox’s product stewardship team Update/Revise, send for translation and maintain SDS (safety data sheets) for polymers and rubbers included in Laitram company products. Gather data for publishing current monthly and quarterly reports, as well as for anticipated future reports on audit results and complaint resolution and response. Coordinate biweekly field issues meetings, including sending of agenda and taking of minutes.
Schedule and lead monthly department business plan meetings.
Review and assign performance complaints and back-up on manufacturing complaints.
Develop and maintain comprehensive filing and document control system for product stewardship (including documentation of audit results, chemical compatibility results, critical complaint investigations).
Issue requested insurance certificates.
Support work of Regulatory Affairs specialist Use specialist’s checklist forms to: Identify gaps in supplier compliance documentation. Inform specialist on status of all information and documentation needed for customer-facing letters. Notify specialist of when gaps will arise based on expiration of documentation.
Capture and track regulatory activities for future reference. Proactively find opportunities to improve productivity of the regulatory specialist function through optimal use of tools and other available technology.

Requirements:

College degree in technical or business-related field.
4 years of experience coordinating/supporting teams. Strong organizational skills
High comfort level with technology adaptation and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI. Excellent written and communication skills
Positive attitude with attention to detail in work
Self-managed and proactive, with initiative to take ownership of process continuous improvement

Desired Qualifications:

Background in customer service or quality administration
Demonstrated Technical writing ability
NOETIX and Dynamics experience EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
