Kelleris looking for an experienced Project Manager based out of our NewOrleans, LA location.
Responsibilities Responsibilities willinclude the following:
Business Development and ProposalPreparations Identifies new opportunities and coordinates with themanagement team for support and overall strategy. Helps to identifynew markets, clients and technologies while building clientrelationships. Assembles proposals which includes performing riskassessment, evaluating opportunities to increase profit,estimating, engineering, technical writing, site visits and clientQ & A. Responsible for negotiation of the contract andunderstanding the contract requirements. Coordinates withpre-construction team if applicable. Risk Management Fullyunderstands and complies with Keller risk management policies andprocedures. Recognizes major risks and takes appropriate measuresto reduce risks to the company. Initial Planning Responsible fordesigns, submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning andscheduling. Plans pre-project meetings with the Superintendent andother entities as required. Develops plans and strategies with theproject team to maximize profitability of projects. ProjectExecution Builds and leads effective project-based teams. Ensuresthe work performed meets the specified requirements. Works with thebranch and project team to ensure the project stays on schedule andin budget. Identifies and addresses challenges and opportunities tomaximize profitability. Change Management Identifies, tracks andaddresses changes; escalates changes when necessary. FinancialManagement Approves and monitors weekly and monthly financialreports, forecasts, budgets and other metrics throughout theduration of the project. Manages A/R collections. Safety andQuality Assurance Ensures compliance with all Keller and OSHAsafety requirements. In the event of a safety incident, work inpartnership with HSEQ to support employees and project managementteams per Keller policy. Resolves all quality nonconformanceissues. Exercises stop work authority for Safety and Quality issuesQualifications Qualified candidates will have: Bachelor’s in CivilEngineering or Construction Management preferred. Minimum 5 yearsgeotechnical, construction or industry related experiencepreferred. Excellent computer, written and verbal communicationskills necessary. LI-SC1
Additional Information Salary Range :
$100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year Actual salary will be based on avariety of factors including relevant internal and externalexperience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical locationor other factors permitted by law
