Project Manager (GC license required) 100% Travel NPSG Global Louisiana Role Summary The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is accountable for the successful execution of projects focused on infrastructure buildouts and installations within warehouse environments. The position is responsible for large, more complex projects as well as the management of multiple projects simultaneously. While executing a large scope project or multiple simultaneous projects, SPM, this individual operates autonomously with guidance from the Program Manager and is responsible for all site activities including, safety/risk management, staffing, production tracking, financial tracking, resource utilization, milestone completion, inventory management, quality, and reporting for the project. The SPM supports the development of the staffing plan, hiring of employees, travel and accommodation planning, and training of team members on tasks. This role typically includes regular interaction, coaching, and development of team members assigned to the project. The SPM will also mentor Project Managers and create an environment where team members receive ongoing coaching and training on project management skills. Key Responsibilities Production Tracking Actively monitor production metrics (task completion, milestone completion, project hours) against budget and schedule to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time and on budget Health and Safety Accountable for the effective implementation of Health Safety & Environmental policies and processes in line with NPSG and General Contractor requirements for NPSG employees and other workers engaged by NPSG for the assigned project(s).

This includes:

ensuring their Project Management team prioritizes the preparation of the HSE Project Plan with the HSE Department, reviewing and assisting with the development of the Risk Assessments and implementation, Job Safety Analysis, Toolbox talks, and effective Accident Reporting. Agency Resourcing Managing requests for staff in liaison with HR & temporary agencies as required. Training Train other Project Managers on critical project management skills. Train project teams on the correct processes for tasks that support the scope of work and ensure they have the right tools to complete the task. Ensure Individuals hold appropriate certifications to operate the machinery for the intended scope. Collaborate with HR and other Company divisions to ensure team member attendance and completion of company-required training. Project Execution to budgeted hours and headcount Responsible for delivering the assigned project(s) to budget Milestone Completion Completion of tasks within the schedule outlined in the SOW and agreed with the customer Communication Manage interactions with: General Contractor & Client Onsite Management team, 3rd Party suppliers and agencies. Participate in and represent NPSG at on-site client meetings as required. Complete all NPSG and customer-specific reporting on time Quality Establish quality metrics within the project scope assigned. Monitoring, tracking, and reporting quality metrics to ensure projects are delivered to the quality levels expected Performance Management Assess employees in accordance with the NPSG Performance Management Policy to ensure we are developing our employees, addressing and documenting performance issues, and identifying employees who perform at a high level. Coach and/or counsel employees in accordance with NPSG policies and core values, as needed. Inventory Management Oversee inventory on-site and track deployment of inventory, including tooling, in conjunction with the project. Put control measures in place to ensure material is secured and accounted for both on-site and in company WH stock. Change Management Support the Program Manager in tracking scopes of work against contractual requirements and following customer/NPSG processes to report change orders as they arise. Communicating with the customer the impact (both time and cost) of scope changes. Experience & Skills Required Work experience At least 7-10 years of previous experience managing projects and teams in intralogistics, warehouse, construction, or similar industries. Educational Qualifications Automation, Robotics, Electrical or Construction Engineering degree preferred, or associate degree with work experience. Project Management Certification desirable (PMP or similar) Stakeholder management & communication skills Has significant exposure working professionally with diverse personalities – clients, suppliers, NPSG managers, employees, temporary agency temps, and other stakeholders, and demonstrates an aptitude for this. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Financial & numerical knowledge & skills Experience in budget management, forecasting, and implementation of financial controls and cost management initiatives. Other technical knowledge & qualifications Certification or experience with the technologies that will be implemented within the assigned program Knowledge of materials & tools Good knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in commercial buildouts. Good knowledge of assembly, power-up, and verification of automated warehouse systems. Leadership & people management skills & experience Has led and motivated management-level direct reports as well as medium to large-sized teams of direct/indirect workers in skilled and unskilled roles across a small project or section of a large project. Provide timely follow-up and attention to employee issues and complaints/concerns escalating those as appropriate to HR. Organizational skills Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliverables to fixed deadlines within a medium to large sized Project. Health, Safety & Environment knowledge & experience OSHA 30 certification. Good knowledge of, and experience in the application of, health & safety requirements for construction and installation activities. Software skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Microsoft Project and Computer Aided Design experience preferred. Language skills Fluent spoken and written English. Conversant in Spanish is a plus. Essential Physical Attributes Must be able to walk long distances daily due to the scale of the warehouse environment. Able to carry weights up to 45 pounds, lift and move parts and tools requiring bending and carrying, within safe limits.
