Job Description We are looking for a Project Manager to translate technical information into plain language, guide virtual meeting participation, and manage follow-up communications. This position will be part-time contract and remote. What You’ll Do Analyze data and stakeholder feedback and convert it to plain language Provide real-time guidance to one or more individuals with IDD during virtual workgroup meetings Draft, revise, and distribute accessible meeting materials Facilitate post-meeting follow-ups, tracking action items and deadlines Maintain accurate, confidential program records (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Coordinate with staff and external partners; travel occasionally as needed Other duties may be assigned to meet program goals
What You’ll Need Required:
Specialized knowledge of developmental-disability programs, rules, and regulations Demonstrated ability to develop policies or procedures and assess broad impacts Excellent oral and written communication skills; skill in translating complex topics Experience supporting diverse stakeholders in virtual environments Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work independently, manage workflow, and exercise sound judgment
Preferred:
Prior experience providing direct support to individuals with IDD Experience with advocacy, community inclusion, or leadership development programs Familiarity with federal/state DD Act requirements.
