Project Manager 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Woburn, MA 01801 We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive the success of our Global Finance Transformation initiatives. This role involves managing complex projects, collaborating with Global Process Owners, and ensuring timely delivery within budget. This is a Long-term Contract position based in Woburn, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects related to the Global Finance Transformation from initiation to successful completion. Collaborate with Global Process Owners to develop and maintain detailed project roadmaps. Define project goals, scope, and resource requirements in alignment with organizational objectives. Assign roles and responsibilities to project team members and oversee their execution. Develop comprehensive work plans for each project phase, ensuring proper resource allocation. Provide regular updates and detailed status reports to Finance leadership and working groups. Monitor project timelines and budgets, addressing any deviations proactively. Identify potential risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity. Utilize resource management systems to track and adjust resource allocations effectively. Follow established project management methodologies and best practices to ensure consistent results. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Program Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of experience managing projects, preferably in Finance process improvements or Finance IT initiatives. PMP certification is preferred, along with proficiency in project management tools; experience with Smartsheet is a plus. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and present updates to stakeholders. Strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated leadership skills with the capacity to work effectively across functional teams and organizational levels. Solid understanding of project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation processes. Experience with risk assessment and implementing response plans to manage project challenges.
