CLIENT OVERVIEW
Our client is a mid-sized biopharmaceutical company looking to add a Project Manager (Pharmaceuticals) to their team.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE
$60/hr – $64/hr Depending on experience
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Manager (Pharmaceuticals) will be managing timelines and deliverables for Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) activities that support both commercial and early-stage biopharma programs. The Project Manager (Pharmaceuticals) collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory, Manufacturing, Process Sciences, and Quality, to develop and refine project plans, incorporating risk mitigation strategies. It also involves maintaining project documentation (e.g., Smartsheet templates) and contributing to operational improvements within the Technical Operations and Quality organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT MANAGER
(PHARMACEUTICALS):
The Project Manager (Pharmaceuticals) will have oversight of project schedules and timelines for ongoing CMC activities essential to the Life Cycle Management of commercial programs.
Work cross-functionally with Commercial CMC Leads and other areas to update/establish project plans.
The Project Manager (Pharmaceuticals) will collaborate with other CMC PMs on the improvement of project plans. Support early-stage programs.
The Project Manager (Pharmaceuticals) will present project improvements to the CMC team.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE PROJECT MANAGER
(PHARMACEUTICALS):
3 – 5 years of project management experience in pharma/biopharma.
Strong experience with Smart Sheet and MS Office Suite.
Highly motivated and flexible.
Strong communication skills to interact with people across all levels.
Ability to work independently and with teams.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE PROJECT MANAGER
(PHARMACEUTICALS):
3 years of experience with Smart Sheet.
Experience across CMC development stages, including early phase (Phase I/II clinical trials) and late/commercial.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in Life Sciences or Engineering is required.
